Another new story, titled This Is The Book, is a simple rhyming tale about Oumi, a young girl living in a remote village in the Arab world, who finds a child's book which teaches her how to read. The book is circulated throughout the village and eventually we discover that the adage, "If you teach a girl to read, you educate an entire village, is true!
EXTRACT
........This is the book that Oumi found,
It taught her all about letters and sounds.
It taught little Oumi how to read,
And that was a wonderful gift indeed!
